According to the details, the Senate session started under the chairmanship of the Deputy Chairman, the question period proceedings were suspended for today to approve the PECA Act Amendment Bill and Digitalization Pakistan Bill, the motion to suspend the question period was presented by Senator Sherry Rehman.

پریس گیلری میں میڈیا سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے اپوزیشن لیڈر شبلی فراز نے کہا کہ ہم پیکا ایکٹ میں ترمیم کو مسترد کرتے ہیں، حکومت کو ایسے قوانین پاس کرتے ہوئے شرم آنی چاہئے، یہ قانون صحافیوں اور پی ٹی آئی کو دبانے کے لئے بنایا جارہا ہے، صحافیوں کا نقطہ نظر مختلف ہوسکتا ہے، صحافیوں کے ساتھ پی ٹی آئی یکجہتی کا اظہار کرتی ہے، یہ قانون اصل میں پی ٹی آئی کے خلاف ہے لیکن زد میں صحافی آگئے۔
