Drug Free Leaders Ceremony at Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Auditorium of Private Schools Association

Faisalabad (94 News City Reporter) Regional Police Officer Faisalabad Sohail Akhtar Sukhira participated in the drug free leaders event at Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Auditorium. On this occasion, CPO Sahibzada Bilal Umar, SSP Operations Farqan Bilal, SP Lyallpur Town Abid Hussain Zafar and other police officers were also present. Parents of students were specially invited in the event.
Addressing the event, RP of Faisalabad said that drugs destroy the future of the young generation and all sections of the society have to fight together to end this scourge. It is the responsibility of parents to educate children about the dangers of drugs. A message to educational institutions, teachers and parents to play an effective role in awareness against drugs. The growing trend of drugs in educational institutions is under control. Region Faisalabad was soon made drug free. The police follow a zero-tolerance policy against drug dealers and indiscriminate operations against drug networks across the region are ongoing.
RPO Faisalabad further said that Faisalabad Police is not only performing the duty of law enforcement but also promoting awareness campaigns, linkages with educational institutions and community policing to give positive direction to the youth. A safe and drug-free educational environment is the top priority of the Punjab government.
