Faisalabad (94 News City Reporter) Chief Traffic Officer Faisalabad Nasir Javed Rana has said that effective implementation of traffic laws in the city, improvement of traffic flow and protection of life and property of citizens is the top priority of traffic police, for which all available resources are being utilized. He said that complete implementation of traffic rules is not possible without the cooperation of citizens, therefore every individual should ensure the observance of traffic rules as a responsible citizen. He expressed these views at the Faisalabad Press Club “Meet the Press” Addressing the program? On this occasion, President Faisalabad Press Club Sardar Bilal Dogar welcomed the chief guest and said that the Press Club will continue to play its role to highlight public issues and promote positive communication between institutions and citizens by organizing such dialogues. Secretary Faisalabad Press Club Shaukat Ali Vito said that awareness of public awareness regarding traffic is the need of the hour and media can play an effective role in this regard. Appreciating the awareness campaigns of the traffic police, he said that such programs play an important role in creating a sense of responsibility among the citizens.
Senior Vice President Mian Kashif Farid said that all relevant institutions and citizens have to play a joint role to solve the traffic problems so as to promote a safe, orderly and better traffic system in the city. Chief Traffic Officer Nasir Javed Rana said that additional traffic wardens have been appointed to maintain the flow of traffic on the affected highways due to the construction of the metro bus service route. He said that so far to raise public awareness about traffic rules 900 More than 100 awareness seminars have been organized while a full awareness campaign is also going on on social media. He further informed that the process of issuance of traffic license for motorcycle rickshaw drivers is also going on to make the traffic system more orderly and safe. In the question and answer session, the chief traffic officer said that immediate action is taken on the media's complaints and the behavior of the traffic wardens. He said that if a complaint is received regarding the behavior of a traffic warden, it is thoroughly investigated and if the complaint is found to be valid, action is taken against the concerned official as per the departmental rules and regulations. He said that timely redressal of citizens' complaints and giving priority to their suggestions is the responsibility of the traffic police, which is followed in every case.
