During the visit to the Press Club, the Deputy Commissioner informed about the features of the Faisalabad Development Package prepared on the special instructions of the Chief Minister of Punjab.

Faisalabad(94 News City Reporter) Deputy Commissioner Faisalabad Capt (T) Nadeem Nasir has said that the media, being the fourth pillar of society, plays a positive role in highlighting public problems, conveying them to policy makers and solving them. He said that the district administration wants to make the mission of public service more effective, transparent and productive by promoting integrated links with Faisalabad media so as to ensure timely and quality services to the citizens. He said this while talking to the journalist community on the occasion of his visit to Faisalabad Press Club. Press Club President Shahid Ali and other officials and senior journalists were also present on this occasion. The Deputy Commissioner said that the media not only plays the role of a bridge but also becomes a means of guiding the district administration through effective publicity of government initiatives and reflection of performance at the field level. He said that welfare of citizens, timely solution of problems and provision of modern civic facilities is the prime objective of Punjab government, to achieve which the district administration is always trying. Appreciating the role of Press Club, he said that Faisalabad will be made a modern, clean, safe and developed city with the mutual cooperation of media and administration. President Press Club Shahid Ali, General Secretary Azadar Abdi and other officials including senior journalists Maqbool Ahmed Lodhi, Ghulam Abbas Tanveer thanked the Deputy Commissioner for visiting and informed him about the measures taken for the welfare of journalists.
