Lockdown in Sindh, federal and provincial government face to face


Karachi (94 news) The federal and provincial governments came face to face over the lockdown in Sindh. When the Sindh government announced a complete lockdown, NCOC chief Asad Umar rejected this decision and said that the country cannot fight the epidemic by shutting down.
Asad Umar said that after the lockdown is reopened, the spread happens again because as soon as the epidemic subsides, people think it is over. However, the only solution to avoid Corona is precaution, but many people are still not taking Corona seriously. Sindh government is doing everything possible to stop the spread of Corona.
In response to this, Sindh government spokesperson Murtaza Wahab said that we do not care what the federal government says regarding the lockdown in Sindh.
Murtaza Wahab said that the immediate solution to bring down the level of Corona is lockdown. He asked Asad Umar that if lockdown is not the solution to stop Corona, then what is the solution.
Now Federal Minister of Information Fawad Chaudhry has also strongly condemned the decision of lockdown in Sindh. He said that no province is allowed to make an individual decision, completely lockdown will not be allowed in Sindh, actions should not be taken without the instructions of NCOC, if Sindh had followed the SOPs, the situation in Karachi would not have been serious today.
Information Minister Chaudhry Fawad Hussain in his statement on the implementation of complete lockdown by the Sindh government said that the federal government's policy regarding complete lockdown is clear, the Supreme Court has also declared that the provinces cannot take an individual decision in this regard.
The Minister of Information said that Pakistan has fought Corona vigorously, so far we have also succeeded in saving human lives and the country's economy is also standing on its own feet. He said that the Prime Minister's position regarding the complete lockdown is that it severely affects the laborers, day laborers and daily wage earners. He said that if Sindh had followed the SOPs, the situation in Karachi would not have been serious today.
