Faisalabad(94 News City Reporter) The Measles and Rubella vaccination campaign organized by the Faisalabad Health Department will continue throughout the district from November 17 to November 29, 2025. 12 During this campaign, children will be vaccinated to protect them from dangerous diseases like measles and rubella. In this regard, an awareness session was held at the District Health Office Faisalabad in which representatives of the Health Department, Education Department, Rescue 1122, WHO, UNICEF, NGOs, scholars of various schools of thought and representatives of the Christian community participated. All the participants assured full support for the success of the campaign. DHO Dr. Azmat Abbas Khachi said that all the arrangements for the vaccine campaign have been finalized by the Health Department. He said that parents should realize their responsibility to get vaccinated to keep children safe from diseases. DDHO Dr. Muhammad Azim instructed all the field staff and vaccinators participating in the campaign to do their best and said that prevention of measles and rubella is possible only through vaccination. During the campaign, special vaccination teams have been formed by the Department of Health to vaccinate children from house to house. An awareness campaign has also been started across the district to make parents aware of the importance of vaccination. Representative WHO Shahnaz Nadeem said that the district administration and the health department are jointly taking steps to eradicate measles and rubella. He appealed to the parents to get their children vaccinated during the campaign so that future generations can be protected from deadly diseases.
