Lahore (94news)Provincial Finance Minister Punjab Makhdoom Hashim Jawan Bakht has said that the education sector is the top priority of Tehreek-e-Insaf, poverty eradication is not possible without increasing the literacy rate, nor the stability of the economy, all departments should prepare a mid-term budget framework along with the review of ongoing development programs so that financial planning for development projects can be done before preparing the next budget.

According to the details, under the chairmanship of Provincial Finance Minister Punjab Makhdoom Hashim Jawan Bakht, a review meeting was held in the Department of Planning and Development regarding the progress in the annual development program of the School Education Department, in which Provincial Minister for School Education Murad Ras, Chairman Planning and Development Board Habibur Rehman Gilani, Secretary Finance Sheikh Hamid, Secretary School Education Zafar Iqbal and the relevant officers of the above departments participated. A framework for financial planning was to be proposed. Finance Minister Makhdoom Hashim Jawan Bakht said that the preparation of future development programs and economic planning is of fundamental importance with the completion of the ongoing projects of the previous government in the current financial year, so all the departments are being instructed to prepare a mid-term budget framework along with the review of the ongoing development programs so that financial planning for development projects can be done before the preparation of the next budget. صوبائی وزیر تعلیم مراد راس نے اجلاس کو بتایا کہ محکمہ سکول ایجوکیشن مارچ میں انصاف سکولز پروگرام کا آغاز کر رہا ہے جس کے تحت پہلے سے موجود سکولوں میں سہ پہر کی کاسز کا آغاز کیا جا ئے گا تا کہ موجود وسائل میں زیادہ سے زیادہ بچوں کو سکولوں تک لایا جا سکے ۔ صوبائی وزیر نے کہا کہ سکول ایجوکیشن ڈیپارٹمنٹ کی سب سے پہلی ترجیح سرکاری سکولوں کی خستہ حال عمارات ہیں جو والدین کو خوف میں مبتلا رکھتی ہیں ۔صوبائی وزیر نے آئندہ مالی سال کے لیے پسماندہ علاقوں میں عدم موجود سہولیات، سکولوں کی نئی بلڈنگز اور پرائمری سکولوں میں اضافی کمروں کی تجاویز پیش کیں۔ سیکرٹری سکول ایجوکیشن نے اجلاس کو بریفنگ دیتے ہوئے بتایا کہ محکمہ اب تک سال 2018-19میں ترقیاتی مقاصد کے لیے جاری کردہ مجموعی بجٹ کا 48فیصد حصہ خرچ کر چکا ہے تاہم ADPمیں متعین کردہ اہداف کی تکمیل کے لیے مزید فنڈز درکار ہیں۔ جاری پروگرامز کی بروقت تکمیل کے لیے فنڈز کی فراہمی سے مشروط ہے۔ ظفر اقبال نے اجلاس کو بتایا کہ محکمہ آئندہ ترقیاتی پروگرامز میں اخراجات کے تخمینہ کے لیے کام کا آغاز کر چکے ہیں۔ آئندہ ترقیاتی پروگرام کی تیاری کے لیے پورے صوبے میں ان اضلاع کی نشاندہی کی جا رہی ہے جو تدریسی سہولیات کے حوالے سے سب سے زیادہ محروم رکھے گئے ہیں ۔ مخدوم ہاشم جواں بخت نے محکمہ خزانہ اور پلاننگ اینڈ ڈویلپمنٹ کو ہدایت کی کہ وہ محکمہ سکول ایجوکیشن کی فنڈز کے حوالے سے فوری ضروریات کو پورا کرے تاکہ جاری پروگرامز کی بروقت تکمیل کو یقینی بنایا جا سکے۔
