Faisalabad (94 News City Reporter) Organized in collaboration with FDA and Divisional Kabaddi Association “Solidarity Day Kashmir Kabaddi Cup” Nankana Kabaddi Club won by Lion Punjab Tigers Kabaddi Club 35 in comparison with 40 Defeated by points. The winning team was awarded a trophy and three lakh rupees in cash, while the runner-up team was awarded a trophy and two lakh rupees in cash. MPA Zafar Iqbal Nagra was the Chief Guest while Director General FDA Muhammad Asif Chaudhry was the Guest of Honor in the final match of the Solidarity Day Kashmir Kabaddi Cup held at the ground of D Block of FDA City. Chief Engineer FDA Mehrayub, Project Director/Director State Management to Sohail Maqsood Pannu, Divisional Sports Officer Manzar Shah, Organizing Secretary Tayyab Geelani, Umaidin Shahr, prominent personalities of Sports Department and a large number of Kabaddi fans were present on the occasion. The teams of Sanjha Punjab Kabaddi Club and Muzamal Buta Azad Kabaddi Club won the third and fourth positions respectively and got a cash prize of Rs.1 lakh and a trophy. Chief guest MPA Zafar Iqbal Nagra and Director General FDA Mohammad Asif Chaudhry introduced the teams of the final match and prizes were distributed at the end. A large number of fans enjoyed the tough and thrilling matches of the renowned Kabaddi teams. Speaking after the prize distribution, MPA Zafar Iqbal Nagra congratulated the Kashmir Day Kabaddi Cup winning team and encouraged the other participating teams for their excellent performances. He lauded DGFDA Asif Chaudhry and his team for their outstanding efforts in organizing the popular game of Kabaddi to show their deep love and deep commitment to Kashmiri brothers on Kashmir Solidarity Day. He said that on Kashmir Day, the Kashmir issue has been highlighted in a unique way at the public level by the passionate and thorny Kabaddi competitions. He saluted the sacrifices of the Kashmiri freedom fighters and said that the hearts of the Pakistani nation beat with the Kashmiri brothers and their moral, political and diplomatic support will be continued at every forum. He said that every time India looked at Pakistan, it was given a befitting reply and the whole world saw India's crushing defeat in the war. He said that Pakistan has been achieved with countless sacrifices and will not sit with China until the independence of Occupied Kashmir. Director General FDA Muhammad Asif Chaudhry thanked MPA Zafar Iqbal Nagra for attending as Chief Guest and said that all-out measures were taken by FDA to celebrate Kashmir Solidarity Day in a grand manner.
