9 May plotters and perpetrators must be brought to justice, Corps Commander Conference
Islam Abad (94 news) Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir has said that 9 May's planners, perpetrators, abettors and facilitators will be brought to justice, he said while addressing the 83rd Formation Commanders Conference Forum. He said that without establishing the rule of law and prompt and transparent judicial and legal action against the perpetrators of May 9, the country will always remain hostage to such conspiratorial elements.
According to ISPR, the forum also recited Fatiha for the martyrs. The forum paid great tribute to the great sacrifices of the officers and men of the armed forces, law enforcement agencies and the martyrs including Pakistani citizens for the safety, security and sovereignty of the country.
The forum was also apprised of the geo-strategic situation, emerging challenges to national security and Pakistan Army's strategy to deal with multi-domain threats and new initiatives to modernize Pakistan Army, improve logistical support for field formations. A briefing was also given on technical innovations.
