Islam Abad (94 news) The process of forming the parliamentary committee for the appointment of the Chief Justice has started, the speaker of the National Assembly has asked the names of the committee members from the parliamentary leaders.

For the committee as per details 8 Members of the National Assembly and 4 members are to be taken from the Senate, from the Ministry of Law as soon as the committee is formed 3 A panel of the most senior judges will be called, the committee will select a new chief justice from the 3-member panel of judges. The special parliamentary committee will send the name of the Chief Justice of Pakistan to the Prime Minister, the Prime Minister will send the advice of the appointment of the Chief Justice of Pakistan to the President.
