In response to a question regarding the money collected for the dam during the festival, former Chief Justice Saqib Nisar said that we did not think that this money would be enough to complete the project. The purpose of the money collected for the dam was not construction but awareness. We wanted to spread awareness among people and make people understand its importance, if through these donations we 15 Billion rupees then it could be a success. He also said that this amount 100 Percent of the construction was not intended to be used, however, it has become a drive through.

Former Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Saqib Nisar said that I am ready to hear criticism on the order given to build the dam whether it was a bad step by the Supreme Court and me or a good step for the future of the people of Pakistan. He said that people used to come to me to donate all their pensions, small children came to me, it was a sentiment, and I am sure it will continue, we have suggested how this fund can be increased through bills and bonds etc. It should be noted that in view of water problems and water scarcity in the country, former Chief Justice Saqib Nisar first ordered the construction of dams, after which he also established a fund for the construction of dams, which was named after him. ”Chief Justice Prime Minister Dam Fund” was placed in which Pakistanis contributed their own contribution and still continue to donate to the dam funds. A bank account was also earmarked for dam fund collection.
