Faisalabad (94 news) Deputy Commissioner Lt(T) A meeting of District Price Control Committee was held under the chairmanship of Sohail Ashraf.

Additional Deputy Commissioners Abid Hussain, Qaiser Abbas Rind, DO Industries Shahbaz Khan, DFC Waqar Yusuf and other officers attended. In the meeting, a briefing was given on availability and rates of chicken, onion, tomato, ghee, flour and other essential items.

The Deputy Commissioner said that the price of essential commodities should be closely monitored in the markets and the price control magistrates should play an active role in this regard. He clarified that the presence of price lists and the sale of goods as per the fixed rates should be ensured so that the consumers get relief.
