Faisalabad by Punjab Govt 352 Farmers were given green tractors

Faisalabad(94 News City Reporter) Under the green tractor scheme of Chief Minister Punjab, a ceremony was held in the office of the Director of Agriculture Extension of Faisalabad Division, in which the selected through lottery. 352 Keys of tractors were distributed among the lucky farmers. Among the special guests of the ceremony were Member of National Assembly Shahbaz Babar, Members of Provincial Assembly Arif Mehmood Gul, Khan Bahadur Dogar and Jafar Ali Hocha who distributed the keys of tractors among the lucky farmers. Additional Deputy Commissioner Ahmed Salim Chishti, Director of Agriculture Chaudhry Khalid Mahmood and other dignitaries also participated in the ceremony. Speaking on the occasion, Director of Agriculture Extension Chaudhry Khalid Mahmood said that the government Punjab is taking all possible measures for the welfare of farmers and agricultural development. He further said that green tractor program has been started after 12 years to promote farm mechanization in the province. This program will not only promote farm mechanization in the province but also support the local tractor industry. In District Faisalabad under Chief Minister Punjab Green Tractor Program 352 Tractors are being distributed and 10 A subsidy of Rs.1 lakh per tractor is being given. At the end of the ceremony, the farmers appreciated the farmer-friendly initiatives of Chief Minister Punjab.
