Development schemes of Faisalabad division will be completed before next monsoon, Commissioner

Faisalabad(294 News City Reporter) Under the development vision of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, an exemplary Punjab development program has been introduced in the history of Faisalabad division, through which the provision of modern urban facilities to the people at the grassroot level will be ensured. Under the Punjab Development Program, 9 mega projects will be completed in the three districts of the division, Faisalabad, Jhang and Toba Tek Singh, at a cost of billions of rupees. Singh, while in Tehsil Jhang of Jhang district, overall urban development and local government schemes will be completed before the next monsoon.

A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Commissioner Faisalabad, Raja Jahangir Anwar, in which the Deputy Commissioners gave a briefing. The meeting was told that the problems related to the installation of tough tiles, upgradation of sewage lines and sanitation will be resolved under the projects. Coordination must be ensured. He said that after the work award, the development work should start in double shift. He clarified that he himself would visit the respective tehsils every week and review the implementation of the projects. He said that the Chief Minister of Punjab has directed the efficient and speedy implementation of the Punjab Development Program, so considering it as the first priority, the Deputy Commissioners should monitor the implementation of the program.
