Faisalabad(94 news) Divisional Commissioner Zahid Hussain chaired a meeting regarding the implementation of public welfare measures was held at the Commissioner's office.

Informed about other ongoing measures including cleaning of washrooms at the pumps.
The Divisional Commissioner urged Vasa, PTCL and Sui Gas to continuously check the manholes and cover the uncovered holes immediately and directed the CEO Waste Management Company to send the sentry workers to check the manholes as well. Task so that no manhole is open at any place.
He directed the PHA and the Waste Management Company to maintain coordination and said that the garbage should be disposed of in a proper manner while the PHA should plant plantations in the available places to create a clean environment. Urging all the departments to carry out their duties with utmost responsibility, he clarified that the meeting of public welfare measures will be held regularly, so the performance should be visible. He also assigned targets to Civil Defense for the inspection of petrol pumps.
