She said compensation was paid in return for land but how much, accepted or not, I cannot say as I have not studied the records in our 'Pothikhana' but the land belonged to our family and Shah Jahan had acquired it.

Dayakumari added that since there was no judiciary, no appeal could be made at that time. Things will be clear only after checking the records.

When BJP leader Daya Kumari was asked whether the former royal family of Jaipur will also file an application in the court? So they said they are reviewing it now and will assess what steps to take.
