Exhibition organized under Hi-Tech Farm Mechanization Scheme Punjab under the auspices of Field Wing in Ayub Research


Faisalabad (94 News City Reporter) The exhibition was organized at Ayub Agriculture Research Faisalabad under the auspices of the Field Wing of the Punjab Agriculture Department. The exhibition was inaugurated by Director General Agricultural Research Punjab Dr. Sajidur Rehman. Additional Director General Agricultural Engineering (Faisalabad Region) Engineer Umar Ali Randhawa, Director Agricultural Engineering Faisalabad Division Engineer Manzoor Ahmed Syal, Director Agricultural Engineering (Research) Engineer Maqsood Ahmed, Director Agricultural Engineering (Technical) Engineer Qaiser Mehmood, Director Agricultural Engineering (Planning) Engineer Shahid Hussain, Director Sargodha Division Faheem, Deputy Director (Monitoring) District Engineers of Jhang, Toba Tek Singh and Faisalabad along with Engineer Israr Kazim participated. A large number of progressive farmers from Faisalabad region participated, which made the importance and usefulness of the event clear. The Regional Head of Bank of Punjab and his team were also present on this occasion to inform the farmers about the financial facilities and loan procedures. The exhibition was organized under Hi-Tech Farm Mechanization Scheme Punjab. The Hi-Tech Mechanization Scheme is actually a revolutionary initiative of the Government of Punjab with the aim of promoting modern technology in the agricultural sector, reducing the cost of production and increasing the yield per acre. Under this scheme, farmers can purchase modern agricultural machinery by getting a loan of up to three crore rupees for a period of five years with the support of the Punjab government. Through this facility, farmers can significantly increase their agricultural efficiency by getting high-tech machinery such as rice harvesters, rice transplanters, modern combines, and high-power tractors. The exhibition featured modern agricultural equipment from various companies, including Kubota's rice harvesters and rice transplanters, among other advanced machinery. Farmers showed keen interest in the machinery and sought guidance from experts. The main objective of the event was to popularize modern agricultural technology, provide facilities to farmers and further stabilize agricultural development in the province of Punjab.
