Faisalabad(94 news) In FDA City 84 A central public park is being established on the canal area, which has been designed according to environmental requirements and aesthetic taste.

Director General FDA Mohammad Asif Chaudhry said this during a meeting in which the implementation of the Central Public Park plan was reviewed. The meeting was attended by Chief Engineer Mehrayub, Project Director Sohail Maqsood Pannu, In-charge Horticulture Rana Sajjad and other officers, while Ms. Bazla, a designing expert of PHA, gave a briefing about the design. 47 Land has been allocated for more than 100 public parks, among them several other parks including the Children's Park have been completed, while the Central Public Park is being established in Block A Seven under the beautiful theme, on which the construction work has already started. It was informed on this occasion that apart from group plantation, the Central Public Park includes attractive landscaping, pleasant lake and other horticulture projects for public interest, while a wide jogging track is also a part of this Central Park so that citizens can enjoy recreation in a pleasant and refreshing environment. Director General FDA directed the concerned officers to complete the project with regular supervision of the construction work of the Central Public Park and special attention should be given to make the park beautiful and attractive as per the design. He directed to keep the green belts and other parks in FDA City green and said that special arrangements should be made for extensive planting in the monsoon season. He said that various types of decorative and evergreen plants should be grown in the streets, parks and green belts and FDA City Residents Association should also be involved in the planting campaign to take special measures for the care and protection of the planted plants.
