Every effort should be made to make the anti-polio campaign a hundred percent success, Deputy Commissioner said

Faisalabad(94 news) Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali has directed that all-out efforts should be made to make the ongoing anti-polio campaign 100% successful and complete the daily target as per the micro plan so that no child under five years of age misses the vaccine.

He issued this directive while presiding over a meeting in which the implementation of the anti-polio campaign was reviewed. Additional Deputy Commissioner General/Assistant Commissioner President Umar Maqbool, CEO Health Dr. Mushtaq Sapra, DHO Dr. Bilal Ahmed, Secretary RTA Zameer Hussain, representative of World Health Organization and officers from other departments were also present. While reviewing the progress of the campaign implementation, the Deputy Commissioner urged the polio teams to carry out their responsibilities in a more efficient manner and said that the presence of polio teams at public transport bases, railway stations and other important public places is certain and the important responsibility of vaccinating children. They should not be neglected. He urged the health department to take immediate steps and solve the problems as pointed out by the World Health Organization. The Deputy Commissioner clarified that the series of random checking of the implementation of the campaign will continue and the relevant area in charge will be responsible for the omission. During the meeting, the DHO gave a briefing about the implementation and monitoring of the campaign.
