According to the details, the spokesperson of the national airline said that this permission was received after two years of long negotiations, initially three weekly flights will fly to New York and this number will be increased gradually. The United States Department of Transportation conducted a security audit of the national airline and airports for two years after which PIA was allowed to fly to the United States. In this context, a delegation of the Homeland Security of America also visited Pakistan. It is hoped that the start of flights will provide convenience to the passengers and on the other hand, a lot of foreign exchange will be collected for PIA.
