According to the details, the girls who converted to Islam in Ghotki have filed an application in the Islamabad High Court for protection. The girls have taken a stand in the petition that they were not forced to accept Islam, rather they accepted Islam of their own free will. Irina converted to Islam and changed her name to Nadia while Raveena changed her name to Asia.

It has been said in the petition that wrong propaganda is being done in the media about Hindu girls, there are threats to the lives of sisters and their husbands due to wrong propaganda, the petition has requested the court to direct the police to take measures to provide us protection. The petition has made Sindh Chief Minister, Punjab Chief Minister, IGs, Pemra and others parties.
