In this regard, according to the National Highway Council, MPs have been approved for exemption from toll tax, for which a formal notification has also been issued. It has been reported that earlier M 2 But the tax exemption on parliamentarians was abolished. In the previous government of Tehreek-e-Insaf, the exemption given to parliamentarians was abolished and it was said that the parliamentarians will also have to pay a fixed fee for passing through the toll plaza like the general public.

It should be noted that in the meeting of the Senate Standing Committee on Communications held a week ago, the members of parliament expressed concerns regarding toll tax.
