DGFDA Muhammad Asif Chaudhry visited Canal Road along with former MPA Rana Ali Abbas and traffic police officers.

Faisalabad (94 news) Director General FDA Muhammad Asif Chaudhry along with former MPA Rana Ali Abbas and other political leaders and traffic police officers made a joint visit to Canal Road to review traffic management and road safety issues. He observed the situation of traffic flow at different places and thought about the necessary measures to bring safety and ease in it and prevent possible accidents so that comprehensive recommendations can be prepared for remodeling and redesigning of Canal Road according to road engineering and planning. Chief Engineer FDA Mehr Ayub, Deputy Directors Engineering Umar Iqbal, Waleed Khalid besides DSP Traffic People's Colony Circle Muhammad Shahid and other traffic police officers were also present on the occasion. Director General FDA Muhammad Asif Chaudhry, former MPA Rana Ali Abbas and other participants, while inspecting the situation of traffic flow on canal bridges, ramps, slip roads and service roads on both sides of Canal Road including Farhan Mills Bridge, Thatta Bridge, Pipeanwala Bridge and Kashmir Underpass up to Gutwala, agreed to eliminate some dangerous ramps for traffic, make the necessary ramps better and safer, and remodel some canal bridges. To do this, there is a need to do road engineering according to the easy traffic requirements of slip road, service road near Kashmir underpass and to make the service road more beneficial for traffic on both sides.
