The case of appointment of the Chief Justice of Lahore High Court, the constitutional bench of the Supreme Court was broken

Islam Abad (94 news) The constitutional bench hearing against the appointment of Chief Justice Lahore High Court Justice Alia Neelum was broken up, Justice Aminuddin Khan, Justice Jamal Mandukhel excused themselves from hearing the case.

According to the details, a hearing was held on the petition against the appointment of Chief Justice Lahore High Court Justice Alia Neelam in the Supreme Court Constitutional Bench, Justice Aminuddin Khan and Justice Jamal Mandukhil heard the case, Justice Aminuddin Khan and Justice Jamal Mandukhil excused themselves from hearing the case. Due to which the hearing bench broke up, Justice Jamal Mandukhel said that we are both members of the judicial commission, the constitution bench directed to transfer the case to another constitution bench.

Additional Attorney General said that seniority is not a fundamental right, there are past examples of appointing Chief Justice without seniority, Justice Jamal Mandukhel said that 2 members of the commission could not hear this case.
