In the Islamabad High Court, Chief Justice Athar Minullah heard the petitions related to the PECA Amendment Ordinance by combining all the petitions.
Additional Attorney General and Deputy Attorney General of Islamabad High Court did not appear in the court, senior lawyer Munir A. Malik did not appear due to ill health.
The court directed to submit written arguments and heard the case 7 Postponed till April.
PFUJ, All Pakistan Newspapers Society, Association of Electronic Media Editors and News Directors including Council of Pakistan Newspapers Editors, former President Lahore High Court Bar Maqsood Butar, Farhatullah Babar are also among the petitioners.
