Faisalabad (94 News City Reporter) Commissioner Faisalabad Maryam Khan has ordered that the administrators of private housing schemes should be mobilized for extensive and systematic plantation, in this regard the activities of planting useful and beautiful trees should be clearly visible. He issued this order during a meeting in which Director General FDA Muhammad Asif Chaudhry briefed him about the organizational structure, jurisdiction, development activities and performance of FDA. Additional Commissioner Coordination Aamir Raza, Additional Director General Yasir Ijaz Chatta, Chief Engineer Meher Ayub, Directors Junaid Hasan Manj, Asma Mohsin, Sohail Maqsood Pannu, Asim Mahmood and other officers were also present in the meeting. The commissioner said that in the spring planting campaign, large-scale planting of trees is being planned. In this regard, the responsibilities of private housing schemes in making the surrounding areas green, including the green belts, are also of great importance, so there should be complete monitoring of the measures for pleasant planting in a scientific manner. Prepare a plan for restructuring, which steps will be taken for approval from the Punjab government so that better results can be achieved by combining building control, commercialization and other issues of urban development under master planning. He asked for the details of the proposed projects for the all-round development of the city according to the future requirements and said that efforts will be made to include them in the budget of the next fiscal year for implementation. The commissioner also reviewed the resources required to make the TEPA functional and said that road engineering and traffic management in the city is the most important need of the hour, so FDA will take comprehensive and coordinated steps to develop this sector on systematic lines. He said that innovating in urban beautification projects, regularizing slum affairs and other development activities will be fully supported, however modern reforms are indispensable to further increase the quality of FDA's services and proceed in a dynamic manner in this regard.
