Officials of the Ministry of Education told "APP" that for the registration of Madrasahs across the country 10 Directorates will be established while one of them established in the federal capital will oversee the entire process.

Two registration centers will be established in each province while one center each will be established in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. Madrasas and their boards will be transferred from the Ministry of Religious Affairs to the Ministry of Education by next week. Officials said that the funds for this project will be sought in the supplementary grant after the budget 2019-20. For the first time in history, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Religious Affairs have jointly prepared a comprehensive policy for Madrasahs, which has been implemented.
