WASA's anti -dengue campaign continues awareness programs, lectures and pamphlets were distributed at Government MC Primary School

Faisalabad (94 news) Under the direction of Managing Director Vasa Sohail Qadir Cheema, the staff of Citizen Liaison Cell Department visited Govt. MC Primary School Gulshan Colony regarding awareness campaign about anti-dengue campaign. Students were lectured on anti-dengue and pamphlets were distributed. In this context, MD Vasa Sohail Qadir Cheema said that the possible breeding of dengue mosquitoes is increasing due to the change in weather, due to which taking preventive measures is the need of the hour. The anti-dengue campaign by WASA Faisalabad at the public level aims to protect against the dengue mosquitoes that cause the disease. He clarified that the implementation of Anti-Dengue SOPs issued by the Punjab Government is the top priority and it is being fully implemented under which water is being removed from the rooftops of the buildings, air-coolers, dispensers on a daily basis at WASA Head Office and other sub-offices, disposal stations and water tanks, while waste materials have been removed from corridors and other places. MD Vasa has also directed the administrative officers to conduct surprise inspections to ensure full implementation of the SOPs of the anti-dengue campaign.
