Maryam Nawaz orders crackdown against vendors
Lahore (94 news) Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has ordered an effective and comprehensive crackdown to deal with inflation.
A video link meeting of all commissioners and deputy commissioners was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. He has directed all the commissioners and deputy commissioners to conduct an effective campaign against peddling. The Punjab Chief Minister has also ordered prominent display of the official rate list and the Chief Secretary Punjab to personally supervise the campaign against hazing and hoarding.
He directed action to monitor the supply and demand of food items and to stop hoarding and said that a comprehensive report should be submitted daily about the prices.
He says that the price and quality of food items should be ensured in every way, the prices of items are reduced during Ramadan all over the world, we should also reduce the prices voluntarily.
The Chief Minister of Punjab said that the supply of quality items should be ensured in the convenience markets at a lower price than the market.
Maryam Nawaz says that action should be taken indiscriminately in the case of hazing and hoarding, no negligence will be tolerated at any level in the campaign against hazing.
