Amending Ordinance on Registration of Madrasahs

Islam Abad (94 news) On the proposal of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, President Asif Ali Zardari has issued an amendment ordinance related to the registration of Madrasahs. Earlier Societies Act regarding registration 2024 was issued.
According to the details, President Asif Ali Zardari has issued an amendment ordinance related to society registration, in which legal protection has been provided to already registered religious schools and section 5 of society registration. 6 And 7 has been amended.
According to the amendment ordinance, all Madrasahs will be required to audit their financial resources and religious Madrasahs under the Ministry of Education will not need re-registration.
The Presidential Ordinance states that religious madrasas shall be free to register themselves under the Ministry of Education or Society Registration Act and madrasas registered under the Ministry of Education shall be considered registered madrasas.
Earlier, the President of the State, the Societies Act related to the registration of Madrasahs 2024 was signed and later the details were also released under the gazette notification.
