Faisalabad (94 news) Under the auspices of Faisalabad NGO Network, Face Foundation and Keir Foundation, a seminar on the Martyrdom of Imam Hussain was organized in a local hotel, in which scholars of all schools of thought, mashaikhs and representatives of civil society participated.

The seminar was presided over by Dr. Iftikhar Hussain Naqvi, Chairman of the Mourning Council, while the guests of honor were Dr. Abdul Hafeez Institutional Peace and Education, Mufti Muzaffar Iqbal, Chairman Faisalabad NGOs Network Mian Nadeem Ahmed, General Secretary Yousuf Adnan, Qari Tahir Mahmood Sialvi, Qari Sohail, Sahibzada Mansha Salik, Pir Arif Shah, Maulana Abdul Rehman, Syed Taseer Ahmed, Hafiza Ruqia, Parvez Bhatti, Pastor Sulaiman Yunus, Pastor Naeem, Mian Zafar Iqbal, Irshad Prakash, Farooq Ayub, Younis Shahzad, Raja Tomas, Asher Iqbal, Parozi Sadiq, Noreen Tabsem, Talat Naheed, Razia Aziz, Rehana Shahid, Rifat Sultana, Nusrat, Nasreen Bukhari and Hafiz Mohammad Usman participated.

In his address, Muqareen paid homage to Imam Hussain and said that the incident of Karbala was not a battle but a history was made. Imam Hussain was martyred and Yazid cursed. Imam Hussain did not bow his head before the oppressor and as long as the world remains upright, the flag of Imam Hussain will remain high and his name will also remain high. Imam Hussain did not stop praying even in war, he proved that stand against oppression, and never support oppression.

The speakers said that even today we need to stand up against the Yazidis who are in the form of oppressors, we have to play our role to highlight the spirit of love, peace, peace and humanity among ourselves. Yazid is not the name of a person, it is a state, a character.
