Digitalizing the judicial system: Chief Justice Qasim Khan

Lahore (94 news) Chief Justice of Lahore High Court Muhammad Qasim Khan has said that the judicial system is being digitized for the speedy delivery of justice.

A meeting of district and session judges of Bahawalpur, Multan and Dera Ghazi Khan was held in Multan under the chairmanship of Chief Justice Lahore High Court Muhammad Qasim Khan.

Addressing the meeting, Chief Justice Lahore High Court Muhammad Qasim Khan said that lawyers and judges will be in touch with video link in the new e-system.

He said that in the new system the lawyer will submit only the soft copy and further correspondence will be done on the registered mobile number and email address of the lawyer.

Chief Justice Lahore High Court said that modern system will take time, which aims to bring transparency in all matters, our top priority is to dispose of pending cases.

He said that the Punjab government has given every district bar for poor and deserving lawyers on our instructions 60 lakh while to the High Court Bars 75 Lakhs of rupees have been given.

Chief Justice Muhammad Qasim Khan said that the distribution of these funds among poor and deserving lawyers 8 To be started from June, the funds have been handed over to the officials of all District and High Court Bars.

He directed that due to the corona virus, the presence of less people in the courts should be ensured, only lawyers should appear in the courts, witnesses should be called whenever necessary.

Chief Justice Lahore High Court Muhammad Qasim Khan also said that the judges should use all resources to deliver justice quickly, we have to fight the corona virus and live with it.
