High-level inquiry ordered into Jardanwala incident, police patrolling, local holiday declared

Due to the timely action of the police and the administration, an announcement was also made from the mosques that the administration was taking action on it, but the agitation had increased due to the desecration of the Quran and a crowd of five to six thousand gathered in different groups in different areas of Jaranwala and tried to attack a minority population. Which the police failed in many places. Attempts were made to damage several buildings, which were prevented by timely action.

A peace committee was immediately mobilized. The peace committee and members of all parties condemned the incident. And also assured that no party is in favor of damaging the property of any minority.

People in different groups, in different places, tried to attack the Christian population and the police kept saving them.

All the gentlemen of the police and district administration played an important role. Due to this, Alhamdulillah, there was no news of any loss of life.
The police arrested more than hundred people in timely action, all the video footages are available.

Their investigation is going on with scientific method. The district administration has called the Rangers

پولیس اور انتظامیہ اور امن کمیٹی کے تحرک کی وجہ سے الحمد اللہ امن و امان کا پورے صوبے میں کوئی مسئلہ نہیں ہے۔ حکومت پنجاب اور اس کے تمام ادارے متحرک ہیں۔ اور انشاءاللہ تعالیٰ حالات کو قابو میں رکھے ہوئے ہیں۔

Commissioner Faisalabad, RPO Faisalabad, DC Faisalabad, and CPO Faisalabad are present on the spot since morning. IG, Chief Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary Home, Additional IG Special Branch and various intelligence agencies are located near Jardanwala.

Meanwhile, the district administration has issued a local holiday notification in Jaranwala in which all government and non-government institutions will remain closed.
