Indian company's syrup contains toxic ingredients, World Health Organization

World Health Organization (WHO) issued an alert on the medicine supplied from India in Iraq.

The World Health Organization says that the Indian company's 'Cold Out' syrup is used to treat colds and allergies. The syrup sent by the Indian company to Iraq contains toxic ingredients.

According to the World Health Organization, excessive amounts of diethylene, glycol and ethylene glycol were found in the syrups of Indian companies.

According to WHO, consumption of both toxic ingredients can cause death. The soap with toxic ingredients is manufactured by an Indian company.

It should be noted that hundreds of children have died due to Indian syrup in many countries of Africa and the Middle East.
