Prisoners' Welfare Society was reconstituted in Borstal Jail Faisalabad, committed to work for the welfare of children.

Children will be given information technology and other courses in skill development, special participation of Madam Sophia Rizwan and Madam Amna Alam Deputy Director.

Faisalabad (94 News Bureau Report) The new Cabinet of Prisoners Welfare Society for Juvenile Institute Faisalabad has been formed. Sofia Rizwan, Assistant Director of Socio-Economic and Rehabilitation for Children Project, chaired the meeting at the Social Welfare Complex, while Deputy Director of Social Welfare and Baitul-Mal Amina Alam attended as a special guest. In the meeting, Mohammad Zahid, former director of Social Welfare and Bait Al-Mal, Farooq Butt, former deputy director of Social Welfare and Bait-Mal, Mohammad Aslam Sailani Welfare Foundation, Mohsin Raza Malik, Advocate, Nazleen Akram, Psychologist, Ali Imran, Psychologist, Muhammad Usman, Adnan Farooq Danish Foundation, Mian Nadeem Ahmed, President Face Foundation and President All Pakistan Private Schools, Muhammad Akram, Mrs. Nazia Mohsin and Mrs. Hina Aslam participated. Sofia Rizwan said that Faisalabad Borstal Jail is actually a Juvenile Institute where the Prisoners Welfare Society will work for the welfare of children. In which these children will not only be cultivated mentally, but we will play our role in making them civilized citizens of the society. The members discussed that together we will conduct skill development courses, information technology and other courses for these children. So that they can become responsible citizens after release. In this regard, psychologists said that we will play our role in making them dignified citizens by conducting case studies of these children. The members further said that medical camps will be arranged for their health so that they can be protected from various diseases. And children who cannot pay their fines and are still in jail for that reason will be released after paying their fines. All reiterated the commitment that all these children will be encouraged to hate crime and live peacefully in the society. In which people in our team will play an active role in it. Madam Sophia Rizwan said that the staff of Borstal Jail is very cooperative and she herself wants the Prisoners Welfare Society to work alongside them in this regard. Special guest Madam Amina Alam Deputy Director Social Welfare said that she will be with the Prisoners Welfare Society in all respects. There will be all kinds of departmental support. He also appreciated the work of all the members and said that these people are already playing their full role in serving people in Faisalabad.
