Cleaning of channels for drainage of rainwater is essential in rainy season, MD Vasa

Faisalabad (94 news) Managing Director Wasa Abubakar Imran visited Main Channel One and Jhang Road of Saeed Colony to review the de-silting of sewer lines by the furnace staff. After reviewing the cleaning campaign of the main channels, he declared it satisfactory.

He said that heavy machinery is being used for de-silting of the main channel. The cleaning campaign of the main channels is being done under the arrangement of rapid water drainage in the rainy season. He further said that the cleaning of the channels is indispensable for the drainage of rain water in the rainy season and the cleaning of the main channels will solve the drainage problems. The director appealed to the consumers to ensure payment of their due monthly bills so that their sewage problems could be better resolved. Deputy Managing Director Ikramullah, former DMD Muhammad Ashraf and others were also present.
