Karachi (94 news) Boxer Aamir Khan has promised that he will donate 40 million i.e. 40 million rupees for the welfare of Pakistanis affected by the lockdown due to Corona virus.
According to details, Aamir said that Aamir Khan Foundation will distribute basic necessities and rations to the poor during the lockdown.
He has also offered to donate his boxing academy in Islamabad to build a quarantine center.
he said “I want to help the government of Pakistan in its efforts to recover the people affected by Corona virus”He said that since quarantined patients need to be kept separately, he believed that the gym of his boxing academy could be the best place in this regard.
Earlier, Aamir Khan has also offered his wedding hall in the UK to build a quarantine center for British residents.
He had said that he was ready to offer his 60,000 square feet wedding hall in Bolton on reports of a shortage of quarantine centres.
In a statement on the social networking site Twitter, the world light welterweight champion said that he is aware of the problems like the situation in hospitals and shortage of beds, and is ready to offer his four-storey wedding hall to help people.
