Director General FDA Muhammad Asif Chaudhry reviewed the auction arrangements in a meeting and directed that the details of the plots be widely publicized for the interest of interested parties. Additional Director General FDA Qaiser Abbas Rind, Director State Management One Junaid Hasan Manj, and other officers were present in the meeting. Director General FDA directed that there should be no interference in the auction arrangements and all kinds of administrative facilities should be provided to the bidders in a pleasant atmosphere. He emphasized that the auction process should be kept transparent and organized in every way. In this regard, the auction committee will monitor the auction matters. DG FDA said that to increase the financial resources of FDA, valuable plots of various locations are being sold through public auction and the funds thus obtained will be spent on urban development, institutional stability and public welfare projects. He directed that aspirants should be fully guided about the details of the auction. During the meeting, Director State Management Junaid Hasan Manj informed the details of the plot selected for auction and said that in various housing schemes allocated for education, health and other public interest facilities. 114 Public utility sites will be auctioned for sale while commercial and residential plots available in Medina Town, Ahmednagar, Millat Town and other areas will also be sold. He said that the shops of Golestan Plaza will also be given on lease in the auction. He said that the details of the main square plots of the city including Chenab Club Chowk and the main office of FDA have been displayed.
