The opposition alliance announced a protest movement against the constitutional amendments

Islam Abad (94 news) PTI leader Asad Qaiser said that the Tehreek-e-Tahufus Constitution of Pakistan held an emergency summit, which was led by Mehmood Khan Achakzai. Leaders of various parties participated in the meeting.

The participants of the meeting rejected the 26th and 27th constitutional amendments against the basic structure of the constitution, subordinating the judiciary to the administration and personal-based amendments. Tehreek Tahafuz Constitution of Pakistan praised the resignation of Supreme Court judges, Justice Mansoor Ali Shah and Justice Athar Minullah as resistance for the preservation of the constitution. Full support and implementation of the declaration was demanded.

Members of the National Assembly and the Senate will walk to the Supreme Court on Monday. A resolution against the 27th Amendment will be presented in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly. The members of the Punjab Assembly will march to the Lahore High Court.
