The Urs of Imam Azam Abu Hanifa and Maulana Muhammad Sardar Ahmed Qadri Chishti were celebrated with devotion and respect and religious enthusiasm.

Faisalabad (94 news) Astana Aliya Muhaddith Azam Pakistan Central Sunni Rizvi Jama Masjid Jhang Bazar Faisalabad celebrated the annual Urs of Imam Azam Abu Hanifa and Maulana Muhammad Sardar Ahmed Qadri Chishti with great devotion, respect and religious enthusiasm. A large number of scholars, great scholars, naat reciters and lovers of the Prophet ﷺ participated in this spiritual and enlightening ceremony from all over the city and paid their respects to the saints. The main ceremony of Urs was attended by Sajjada Nashin Pir Faiz Rasool Haider, Mufti Muhammad Fazal Subhan Qadri, Allama Saeed Kazmi, Maulana Kokb Noorani, Muhammad Ali Haider, Syed Imtiaz Hussain Shah Kazmi, Syed Zahib Al Hasan, Syed Arshad Al Kazmi, Syed Matrat. Shah, Allama Muhammad Abu Bakr, Mufti Liaqat Ali, Allama Muhammad Hamid Sarfraz, Maulana Muhammad Fazal Rasool Rizvi and Maulana Tayyab al-Reza and other scholars and scholars gave speeches. In their speeches, the speakers described in detail Imam Azam Abu Hanifa's jurisprudential services, scholarly position and status, and his valuable services to the Muslim Ummah. He said that Imam Abu Hanifa is the great jurist who strengthened the foundations of Islamic jurisprudence in the light of Quran and Sunnah and established principles which are a source of guidance for the Ummah even after centuries. Today, millions of Muslims around the world follow Hanafi jurisprudence, which is a proof that the scholarly efforts of Imam Azam will live on till the Day of Judgment. Speakers said that Maulana Muhammad Sardar Ahmad Qadri Chishti devoted his entire life to the publication of Islam, the promotion of the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and social reform. His preaching struggle created a positive change in the lives of countless people and even today people are benefiting from his grace. Addressing the ceremony, Sajjada Nashin Pir Faiz Rasool Haider said that the teachings of the saints convey the message of love, tolerance, peace and brotherhood. He said that the life of Imam-e-Azam Abu Hanifa teaches us that purity of character is also important along with knowledge. Today, if we implement the principles of Imam Abu Hanifa in our practical life, many evils can be eliminated from the society automatically. Mufti Muhammad Fazal Subhan Qadri said in his address that Hanafi jurisprudence is not only a collection of jurisprudence problems, but it is a complete system of life that shows the right path to a person from the individual to the society. He said that Imam-e-Azam always spoke the truth, raised the word of truth in front of tyrants and rejected worldly greed and gave priority to the service of religion, which is a great example for us in today's era. He spent his whole life in promoting the love of Rasool ﷺ and reforming the young generation. His preaching style was very gentle, loving and wise, due to which people accepted his words wholeheartedly.
