Babar Azam announced to quit captaincy from all three formats

Lahore (94 news) Pakistan cricket team batsman Babar Azam has resigned from the captaincy of the Tani format.

In his social media message, Babar Azam said that he is resigning from the captaincy of all formats, he will continue to perform as a player in all three formats.

The former captain said that under my captaincy the team got the first ranking in ODI, I will fully support the new captain of the team.

Babar Azam added that he is grateful to the board for giving him the opportunity to lead the Pakistan team, as a player he will be available to the team for all three formats.

Babar Azam met Chairman PCB Management Committee Zaka Ashraf today, during which he was offered to retain the captaincy of the Test team only.
