Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei has said that the killers who killed General Salmani should wait for serious revenge. He said that General Salmani was a brave soldier. Khamenei said that the killing of General Salmani has doubled the resistance against America and Israel. America should be prepared for severe retaliation. Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei announced three days of mourning in Iran after the US killed Iranian General Salmani.

It should be noted that the United States accepted the responsibility for the attack on Iran's Quds Commander Qassem Soleimani. In a statement issued by the Pentagon, it was said that Soleimani, the commander of Iran's Quds Force, was killed in the American attack. He added that Qassem Soleimani was actively planning attacks on Americans in Iraq and the Middle East.
