Ibn Khaldun's full name was Abu Zayd Waliuddin Abd al-Rahman bin Muhammad Khaldun al-Hazrami, one of his ancestors named Khalid came and settled there after the conquest of Spain. In Spanish, Khalid is written and read as Khaldun. It is said that due to his involvement in politics, many enemies were born in Morocco. Disheartened by this, Ibn Khaldun went to Spain. According to his political observations, when states are ruined, every hundred terrors spread. Wonders appear and rumors spread. Fruitless debates drag on. The voice of falsehood is raised and the voice of truth is suppressed. The alienation of the wise increases. People lose their personal identity and the community, group or sect becomes their identity. The voice of intellectuals is lost in the noise of preachers. The fundamentals of nationalism, patriotism, faith and religion disappear. And people of the same family accuse blood relatives of treason.
