According to the details, the fatwa issued by Al-Sheikh of Al-Azhar University, Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, said that such women who worked hard to increase their husband's wealth will be entitled to half of their husband's property.
He explained that in modern times, women have to enter the labor market and share the burden of life with their husbands, so this fatwa is necessary.

According to media reports, he also emphasized that married life is not based on rights and duties but on friendship, love and attitudes in which the husband supports his wife and she supports him to build a good family.

Sheikh Osama Qabil, one of the scholars of Al-Azhar University, explained to Al-Arabiya.net that Sheikh Al-Azhar's fatwa is in accordance with Islamic Shariah principles. It is based on the idea that a woman has the right to share in her husband's wealth if she has helped him. After marriage, if the woman has been a material and spiritual supporter of her husband, then morally she should take her right.
