GC Women's University hosts three-day International Conference on Advanced Theoretical and Applied Physics
Faisalabad (94news) The third three-day international conference on Advances in Theoretical and Applied Physics was organized online by the Department of Physics, Government College Women University, Faisalabad, to make students aware of modern technologies and research.
The aim of the conference was to expose the students to the research findings and ideas of prominent scientists, researchers, scholars and industrialists from around the world. Addressing the international conference, Ms. Asma Khurshid, in-charge of the Department of Physics expressed her commitment that the conference will provide recent and advanced research in applied and material sciences.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rubina Farooq emphasized the need to initiate joint research programs and international cooperation. He appreciated the efforts of the Department of Physics for organizing international conferences consecutively for three years. He also spoke about the importance of medical physics in diagnostics and organ transplantation in recent times. Coordinator Science and Technology Dr. Zal Huma Nazli emphasized the importance of sharing modern knowledge among young researchers for research development and appreciated the efforts of the Department of Physics. Prof. Farahtin Yakiofanoglou at the International Conference (Ferrat U neursty. Turkey), Prof. Valios Lambissus, Prof. Andreas Liers (King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia), and Dr. Mujahid Zakaullah (Ruhi-Almigert Bochum, Germany) Dr. M. Atif, Dr. Anis A. Ansari (King Saud University, Saudi Arabia)Dr. Saber Dad (Biophotonics Institute, Taipei Taiwan), Prof. Daniel Jacques Garcia, Dr. Natalia Mayumi Inada (University of Sao Paulo, Brazil), Professor Wanderley Salvador Bagnato (University of São Paulo, Brazil), Professor Luther Like (University of Toronto, Toronto, Canada)participated and expressed their views. A large number of faculty and students participated on the first day of the international conference.
