Order issued for restoration of Mayor of Islamabad

On Monday, a division bench comprising Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb and Justice Ghulam Azam Qambrani of the Islamabad High Court heard the federal intra-court appeal against the court decision to reinstate Mayor Islamabad Sheikh Ansar Aziz.

During the hearing, Kashif Ali Malik, advocate, said that the federal appeal is not admissible.

The Additional Attorney General had told the court that the government had given instructions to file an appeal earlier and now not to argue the appeal, the appeal against the reinstatement of Mayor Islamabad has been filed against my advice.
