The citizens of the Punjab Home Department decided to issue licenses

Lahore (94 news) Punjab Interior Department has decided to give arms license to ordinary citizens as well.

According to the details, Punjab Interior Department decided to issue arms license to common citizens and sent the summary to Chief Minister Punjab which was approved. In the summary sent to the Chief Minister of Punjab, it was said that ordinary citizens should also be allowed to give arms license. On this, the Punjab government also gave permission. The Home Department has decided to issue arms licenses to ordinary citizens on the basis of need. In this regard, the committee headed by the Additional Chief Secretary Home takes this decision, the Home Department gives the final approval on the recommendation of the Deputy Commissioner to grant arms license.

According to this decision, arms license will be issued to the citizens based on their need.

It should be remembered that earlier ban was imposed on the issue of arms license to citizens in Punjab. In January of this year, the Interior Department had partially started the process of granting NPB arms license in Punjab on the instructions of the federal government, under which in the first phase arms licenses were given to government employees, armed forces officers, members of assembly and on the basis of need based on the security situation and on the report of the special branch, arms licenses were also given to ordinary people. The Punjab Home Department had also started receiving applications in this regard, while the federal government had already started issuing arms licenses to officers and soldiers. According to the Department of Home Affairs, those who have security and threats will also be given arms license. The Home Department had also started the distribution of forms in this regard.
