The important meeting regarding the prevention of bird hazard under the chairmanship of Commissioner Faisalabad is to secure the airport and the air base of Pakistan Air Force, the Commissioner said.

Faisalabad (94 News City Reporter) Bird hazard under the chairmanship of Commissioner Faisalabad Musrat Jabin(Bird Hazard)An important meeting was held regarding the prevention of air pollution, the aim of which is to secure the airport and air base of the Pakistan Air Force in the districts of the division. The commissioner emphasized on ensuring zero waste in the vicinity of the airport and the air base during Eid-ul-Azha and said that pigeon flying, use of laser light, throwing meat and animal waste in the said areas are a serious threat to flight safety. 144 He said that tree stumps should be sorted in these areas while also collecting data of fish and poultry farms. The commissioner said to speed up the public awareness campaign about not throwing the meat and meat of sacrificial animals around the airport/airbase. I also keep the monitoring teams active and arrest those who throw meat/alishes openly or sell meat for charity. Deputy Commissioner Faisalabad Capt.(T) Nadeem Nasir, Manager Airport Tasneem Akhtar, Additional Commissioner Coordination Tanveer Murtaza, Jhang and Deputy Commissioner Toba Tek Singh participated in the meeting through video link. Meanwhile, Commissioner Faisalabad issued necessary instructions to the officers of the departments regarding the arrangements for Eid-ul-Adha. Similarly, the task was assigned to MD Horticulture Agency for cleanliness in the parks. He said that no manhole should be uncovered while emphasizing the need for WASA to secure the under-construction projects sites.
