Faisalabad (94 News City Reporter) On the instructions of the Punjab government, the Muharram control room has become fully operational in the DC office for monitoring the processions of the 10th of Muharram by scientific methods, where the staff of all the relevant departments have been assigned duty in shifts. Muharram control room till the night of Ashura. 24/7 will remain functional.Deputy Commissioner Capt(T) Nadeem Nasir visited the control room and checked the presence of the staff on duty. He directed that the duty of the control room requires responsibility, so there should not be a moment's delay in the exchange of information. He directed the duty in a vigilant manner and said that monitoring should be done from every angle through CCTV cameras while also taking into account the media reports regarding the arrangements so that any minor deficiencies that come up can be rectified immediately. Additional Deputy Commissioner General Anwar Ali, Additional Deputy Commissioner Finance Mudassar Mumtaz, Admin Officer Riaz Hussain Anjum were also present. The Deputy Commissioner said that foolproof arrangements will be ensured during Muharram. The Deputy Commissioner urged the concerned departments to maintain full communication and coordination.
