Successful negotiations between Pakistan Labor National Movement and the district administration assure implementation of gazette notification

Faisalabad (94 News City Reporter) Negotiations between Pakistan Labor National Movement and District Administration at Airport Chowk were successful. The implementation of labor laws was announced. After 40 days, the workers of Sidhar sector came out on the streets in protest when the demands were not accepted. The workers took out a rally from Siddhar to Dhandra and along with the workers blocked the main highway Jhang Road from Airport Chowk, causing queues of vehicles on the inter-district highway. The workers continued to raise slogans against the district administration and power looms owners. SHO Airport Police Station Shahid Pannu, AC President Zulqarnain and Director Labor Ghulam Shabbir Kaliar reached the spot for negotiations on the workers' protest. While talking to the workers, they said that the Punjab government's gazette notification 2025 will be implemented, according to which the worker will perform eight hours of duty for 40,000 per month and he will be obliged to run five looms, apart from this he will not do any other work. Social security is the basic right of the worker which every implementation will ensure. Clean drinking water will be available in the factories. All the workers should reach their respective factories in the morning and work on this notification. Now it is the job of the government.
